Serving Dickinson, Iron and Baraga counties, the Home Delivered Meal Program is designed to assist homebound seniors in meeting their nutritional needs by delivering meals to their homes up to seven days a week.
DICSA serves over 120,000 hot, home delivered meals to eligible participants each year. Each meal is nutritious, tastes great, and is delivered to the home of a senior who is not able to leave their home under normal circumstances. There is no charge for this program, however participant donations are greatly appreciated and directly support the program. (The suggested donation per meal is $5.00)
To receive Home Delivered Meals, please contact one of the DICSA Nutrition Sites. Meals will begin immediately, however an in-depth assessment must be completed in the participant's home to determine eligibility and develop a service plan.

The Congregate Meal Program provides nutritious meals and nutrition education to older individuals in a congregate setting at most local Senior Centers.
In addition to the meals served, this program provides an opportunity for socialization and for obtaining information about other services and activities available in the area.
Congregate meals are available to anyone 60 years of age or better. There is a suggested donation of $5 per meal to help support the program. Those under the age of 60 are also welcome to enjoy the meals, however they are asked to pay the guest fee of $6 per meal.
Meals are most often served during lunchtime, however some senior centers may offer evening meals on certain days of the week. Please contact any of the local senior centers for information on when they are serving meals, as well as lunch menu choices.
